Fireworks?

So, the fireworks have been banging in my ears for an hour or so here, and I filmed a bit of it, and it looks great. The only problem is that I'm on a linux based PC now without firewire because the other PC is down at the moment. So, until I get my footage up online, have you shot any fireworks? I know, it's not really new year's eve everywhere yet, but anyone? Britain?

Fireworks on video is always cool, post 'em here if you have any! Mine will be up in a couple of days.
 
Just got back from shooting some more fireworks. Holy smoking moly, what a scare that was!

I still hadn't taken my beloved DVX-baby out of the bag, and I was standing with my dad 5 metres away from some guys shooting fireworks. Then, when I had my back turned on them, all suddenly a small, but powerful rocket flew in between me and my dad, and landed on the ground, 4-6 metres away where it gave away one hell ov an explosion. Damn, that was like 10 inches from my beloved DVX, it could have been killed!

Can't wait to see the footage... I think it turned out great.

first time filming, huh? very nice story. especially to tell your freinds about the first time you filmed. i'd really like to see what you caught on film. send me a private message when you upload it somewhere or something because thats one thats going on my website!

Oh no, definately not the first time filming at all, I've had my DVX for about 5 months now, I think. I'm sorry if it's kind of hard to really understand what I'm trying to say, my English always seems to drop a few levels at night.

And oh, I did not film the rocket passing by, as stated, the DVX was in the carrying bag (or whatever it's called:undecided )
 
Actually I shot a fireworks display last night at Seaworld Orlando. The results are quite nice, I think.
