Hey, starting work on a video for my parents' church Capital Campaign, and of course I'm running into brand new problems.
So I get my camera set up for capture in Premiere Pro 1.5 and I get... nothing. The DV device isn't connected, I'm told.
Windows XP doesn't recognize it- no pop up menu asking how I want to capture (through PPro, Windows Movie Maker...)
If it's the camera, I'm very upset. BUT, my little Sony doesn't register, either. So it's not the camera.
I just replaced the Firewire PCI card about six months ago, so I'm suspicious of it. Device manager says it's working fine. But when I try to roll-back drivers, it crashes.
It's a Dynex PCI card from Best Buy. I'd rather not buy another one, but there is a deadline for this.
What are the steps for setting up? I've search, but haven't found anything I don't know already. Also, drivers are difficult to find for this card- I can't even tell what model it is. Cheap thing...
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
