I was trying to set up my hvx to do live video capture on my windows vista machine under Ultra2. Seems to see the camera and even trys to connect, but then it shows a blank white screen. Anyone have a solution?

For starters, you can't use the hardware video overlay that almost all video tools rely on when using the spiffy new Aero user interface -- you'll have to turn that off.

Still does not work. Could it be a laptop thing?

Try the Serious Magic forum -- unfortunately I don't use Ultra, Ultra 2, or even Vista, so I have no first-hand advice.

I tried it with Vegas as well on both my vista laptop and older XP desktop. Does not work on either machine.
Could there be a problem with the settings in the camera or maybe the drivers on the computer?
What are the proper settings in menu 9?
