Any advantage using Firewire 800 storage devices with Avid Xpress Pro? How about with Mojo?

Recommend best performing hard drive at a decent price?

Using FireWire 800 for storage is an OS to hard drive issue, Avid just expects basic 7200RPM for DV25 data rates. The faster the drive and connection, the more real time streams you will get. But remember to keep the Mojo (if used) on the FireWire 400 bus.
