Firewire 400 Or 800?

[homer]

I'm new, (hi) and getting my dvx soon!!hopefully

I am building my setup now, and I was wondering, should i get a firewire 400 or 800 to transfer to my computer from the camcorder?

I know 800 is preferred for hard drives, just wondering about the camcorder.

they are a more expensive and I'm not rich yet

The camera only supports 400.

[EDIT-XTREEM]

Well, you can get a firewire 4 pin to Firewire 9 (DVX to firewire 800).
