Firestore unrendered footage? any one got a minute to help?

Hi, we shot on firestore at 720P, but all the footage is unrendered on the timeline, when I right click and go into settings on a piece of footage it says "50FPS". How has this happened? When I slow it down to 50% and render it doesn't look smooth either.

It works fine as it is but it means I have to render every piece of footage, any idea what I've done here? Is it to do with the hack I've been reading about for slow motion on the firestore? But the camera was set to 720P 25FPS... anyone?

Plus one thing that always drives me crazy. Is there no way to organise the P2 footage on the log bin in the order it was captured in?

Any help/advice MUCH appreciated.
Cheers

Hi

If this was shot for slo-mo:

Open clip in cinematools and choose conform to 25p (a real one-click thingy, no renders involved) Then your clip will playback without rendering in FCP.

If you intend your project to be p50, you

a) shot with the wrong camera setup
b) Have a FCP problem as FCP as of now doesn't edit 720p 50
c) can google and find an XML hack to solve said problem
d) hold your breath to next rev of FCP, as people who have seen the beta repeatedly claim 720p 50 DVCPRO HD is part of it.

Enlightening?

Cheers!
