My apologies if this has been covered already. I'm wondering if it will be possible with the HVX to record to the upcoming FireStore drive then offload that footage directly to a firewire drive without needing a laptop for the transfer?
I don't know if the Firestore can do that or not; we've been asking Spec-Comm to include that capability in their CinePorter. I think it would be an extraordinarily valuable and important feature.
