Firestore Record/Output Question

Is it possible with a Firestore to simultaneously in HD record to it's disk and output via the Firewire to a computer at the same time?

If not are there any solutions that would allow this?

If you have an HPX170, and record via the SDI Output to something like a ioHD, Kona, or BlackMagic setup, then yes, you can do both recording to a computer HDD as well as a FW. I am unsure about whether or not the FS-100 will allow you to use it both as a recording device and a passthrough, though.

With just the firestore you cannot record out of it while also recording into it. Unless they've changed something after Firmware 3.0
