I am about to edit a short film shot on the hvx200 with a firestore drive. I've done this before with no problems, but this time the camera crew has no experience with this camera, and so after I arranged the p2 and connected the drive to my computer, no files were visible in the import p2 utility in fcp. When I look inside the drive all I have is a folder full of files with a .dv extension. when I play these filesI see colorful pixels and audio that sounds slow and distorted. It seems to me that there was some setting that wasn't set properly either on the camera or the drive that disables the drive to arrange the firestore information (the arrange p2 operation on the drive was very quick, much quicker than usual). Does that sound familiar to anyone? Any ideas?
