I have a new firestore 100 for my hvx205a, but whenever i use the P2 format for it mxf files appear in the import to fcp appears and i get an error.
1. how do i get the panasonic p2 to appear in the import section. I tried the easy setup but the p2 menu still wont come out.How do i make fcp read those mxf clips?
2. when i use the QT, its ok but its a QT proprietary , do i still convert that to prores QT? I use prores hq to sync with my 7d and GH2 clips in post. Is there a lost everytime i do that? i use the mpeg stream for conversion.I notice in slight change in colour.
