This is the DTE technology unit made by Focus Enhancements for the Panasonic HVX200 series video cameras ( and others?). It allows you to shoot for hours at a time directly from the camera to the drive in Quicktime files, eliminating the need for numerous P2 cards and transfers directly into your NLE for immediate editing. It is battery and AC powered.
I have had this unit since new and it is in excellent condition and has very little use.
