I have a laptop with only a single firewire connector. Can I hook the FS100 to an external firewire hard drive and then plug the hard drive into the computer in order to copy the firestore drive files onto the external hard drive?

Thanks, just wanted to make sure the FS doesn't do some quirky little thing I'm not prepared for.

Also, you can't go from camera to FS to computer via firewire, can you? I mean firewire out on the camera to DV on firestore then COMPUTER I/O on firestore to computer, then see both Firestore and P2 card files on computer. That's just crazy talk, yes?
