Firestore 100 and New iMacs

Looking for the best way to get footage from a Firestore 100 onto one of the new iMacs with usb 3 and thunderbolt connections.
 
Thunderbolt to FireWire adapter with a FireWire 9-pin to FireWire 6-pin cable, or 4-pin if that's what is on your Firestore. Both available from the apple store.
 
Ya but it will be restricted by the 400s speed of connection. Just be patient I guess

amazing how spoiled we get as technology advances. from 2000 to about 2004 i edited primarily on fw400 drives and all was right with the world.
