Wow the hmc shots were great! I love what this camera can do especially indoors. And that church looks great. I would love to attend if I was in the area. I like what you do Justyn

Cheers Thomas... The respect is mutual. Your initial footage was what made me buy the 150. After a year I still love it, and feel happy about the purchase. If you do make it down to Florida, would be great to meet you and you would always be welcome at the church. They have really been one of my best clients in terms of creative freedom and in paying on time and without hesitation. Quite a unique thing in today's economy...

Keep on keeping on and what are you working on lately?

nice work...it cut well with the hvx. I read ur tales of getting the hmc after having the hvx and never looking back. that makse sme feel confident in getting this camera. I'm a dvx user but i will be upgrading to the hmc hopefully by about march next year. (i'll still have alot of use out of my dvx cuz we dont broadcst in HD in jamaica). Anyhoo...i'm supposed to go to Gainsville in about 2 and a half weeks or so for about 3 weeks (GF moved there)...it would be kool to link up if u have the time so i can see that cam in action. Even visit to your church, i think she'll enjoy it. kool to link up with any dvxuser...lol cuz most of you are in the US and can link up with each other better than i can :).

Anyway just throwing that out.

That would be totally cool. Gainesville isn't far away at all and a trip to Orlando might be a good time for you. I do also have a couple of filmmaker friends in Gainesville and I know one guy who has the 150 there too. It's a good time to be a filmmaker. By all means, hit me up when you get to the States. you can reach me at justyn.rowe@gmail.com

You will totally love the 150. There are some other DSLR cams to consider now, but they aren't quite ready for primetime and you would have to solve a few other elements as well. I've been really happy with the 150 and it will still give me a few more years of usage regardless of whether I buy another camera or not. The 150 is a great camera for a lot of applications...

Cheers and you would also be more than welcome at our church and in our fair city. Gville is also really a cool place, except for those persky UF Gators...

Haha the kind words are appreciated Justyn.

I haven't been able to use my camera too much recently. I've been working for Miss Universe in the city editing web videos and various things.. shooting every once in awhile but they use these terrible JVC prosumer cameras that I inevitably have to use.

If I'm ever in the area I will have to let you know. I can't imagine I would ever be around there or even in FL anytime soon at all but you never know right? lol

:bath:

Nice! very cool. Its funny you say the UF Gators cuz thats who she's gonna be working for ..well UF at least...and she's a Hurricanes fan..lol. Go figure. I told her to keep her mouth shut about the hurricanes while she is there :D
I'll hit you up...thanks again.

Darren.
