I am going to be shooting with a DVX 100A... I noticed lots of you have good understanding of the camera and settings, So I am wondering what are the best setting for the camera if I need to capture fireworks nice and clear.

I will be doing this on Sat. night for a client who needs the best footage possible... I need to capture this the best way I can.

Thank you in advance!

Fireworks...???

Fireworks...???

I'm not sure where everybody is...
I'll give it a shot...!!!
My first thought is make sure you're shooting with the auto iris off.
If possible set your exposure early in the fireworks display, that way you won't
over expose when the biggest boomers go off...
Try to avoid any foreground elements. Poles and wires tend to get in the way...LOL
It depends on how close you will be... if it's some distance you will have to compose accordingly. preferably get right up under them. Then again... one of the best I've done was looking down on them from a helicopter...
Good luck...
