Fire store v.4, quicktime clips and FCP 6

All right here's the thing.
Im recording 1080/24 PA on a Fs-100 making quicktime clips.
Im getting a lot of interlaced lines when watching in FCP (not importing but putting directly into FCP 6)
So:
1.- FS100 doesnt internally remove the frames and that`s why I dont get a progressive image
or
2.- I should record on P2 mode instead of quicktime in the FS100
3.- FCP 6 has a problem with 1080/24 PA

Any help here?
Thanks...

I don't think the problem is with FCP. I think it lies in how the FS-100 is making your Quicktime clips.

Try shooting some 1080/24pA footage on P2, then log and transfer into FCP making sure you have selected the DVCProHD 1080/24pA codec in the FCP video settings. FCP automatically removes the pulldown from P2 clips and your footage won't be interlaced.

I've never used an FS-100, so I don't know whether it's possible to have it record native MXF files rather than Quicktimes. If it IS possible, I'd try it.

I think ypure both right. I've been doing the quicktime clips in the FS100 so it does not remove
the frames. I'll shoot 1080/24 PA on camera, P2 on the FS, and import with removal on FCP 6....Post you later... thanks

OK.
Here's the solution and settings.
Camera at 1080/24 PA
FS-100 at P2 or Quicktime PN
If p2 have to import to FCP 6 with "remove pulldown"
Beatifull big picture, no interlacing, hours of recording.
