This has been asked for a thousand times, but it was verified in a Facebook live stream today that the May 25 th firmware update that brings ProRes RAW over HDMI will allow you to punch in while recording, but not affect the HDMI output image.

Panasonic rep Matt Frasier didn't specifically state if it affects the internal recording or not, but he stated this had been requested for years and years, so I think it's finally fixed. Maybe it will trickle down to the GH line in a firmware update.

Well, to make matters worse, this only happens if you are only recording external. If you record internal or internal and external, it won't work :Drogar-Mad(DBG):
