So the DVX100b is out over here... creativevideo.co.uk is the only one I've seen so far.

Where will UK shooters be buying theirs? This will be my first serious cam and I'd rather the experience wasn't ruined by buying from the wrong place.

Hi there

hpreston.co.uk are doing t for 2000 inc VAT which looks almost a few hundred cheaper than Creative Video.

I use H Preston about 90% of the time. Always had excellent service from them. they also do 0% finance for 12 months which is how I bought my DVX100A.

Check them out.

cheers for now

Blimey, didn't realise H Preston was so prolific! My first experience of them was a bit odd. They are just up the road from me and for some reason they seemed reluctant to sell me anything!

However my opinion of them has changed dramatically. I recently went in there to get a new wired lav mic. When I made a humourous comment about there not being a tie clip with the mic and probably having to spend another 500 notes on a small piece of plastic they promptly ripped open a brand new radio mic package and gave me the tie clip from that free of charge!! They also asked if I had any business cards for my services so they could pass them on to any customers who were interested!

So yes, highly recommended company!
