FINALLY I have a new REEL. Comments please...

Looks good. The length was a little long but I thought that the material should be in chronological order if you are going to put dates on it to show your growth as a DP.

still wanting feedback?

I think you are very talented and I think this video could do a better job of selling that.

1. The length, too long. But, you also intersperse a ton of music stuff that has nothing to do with narrative filmmaking. What if you split them?
2. The song, cool at first, but after 90 sec of it, I was tired of it. After 3 in, I wanted the pain to stop. My wife, who was in the other room doing her own thing piped up 'what are you watching? that song is so annoying!'
3. Grading, several of those shots really need to be graded (again?)
4. Do you really need to say what the title of each piece is and when it was filmed?

I really dig this one more than the previous incarnation.
Gotta agree on the previous critiques tho-
You know, as Tommy Lee's high school girlfriend once said............

.

Woah! That was some IMPRESSIVE cinematography. You are damn talented. Wish I could have such a skill. Don't give up filmmaking, you are what the industry needs.

No negative feedback from me!

Tim, nice work, you rock man.

Listen to the advice, it's TOO LONG in the fact that more than one person told you it was too long (including me). Here is the thing, you don't need to eat an entire box of cereal to know if the cereal is good. You want to give people a taste of what you are, not a whole meal. I also fast forward it after 3 minutes.

The music video, first one was too long. I get it, you can shoot it, don't have to show me so much of it.

Also, cut out the title and YEAR of stuff, do not ever, ever date yourself, will make me wonder why you don't have more stuff on there.

It feels a little unfocused in the beginning, some shots that don't feel like they have a focus. That dolly shot through a clothes rack doesn't give you much. I would trim some of the stuff on the head. It ends pretty strong.

And Teddybear is 2007, not 2006. :)

Hey Tim,

Where can I download "Katrina" for my iPod? I'm downloading "Bone Hand" now.
