Finalizing in Sound Forge

Hello everyone.

I've been working on a project for quite awhile now and am finally finished. I've looked online for my problem but I can't find anything. I'm so close to being finished I just need to do this one last thing so I appreciate any help you guys can give me.

I cut my project on Avid then imported the audio to Sound Forge 8.0 to fix it up. I finished the audio and am trying to export the final project to burn on a DVD. I have tried rendering in Sound Forge to a Quicktime file but when I play the resulting file it jumps and stalls and just does not play correctly. Any tips to make this work? Am I even going about this correctly? Basically I just need to know how to merge my final sound and video in the highest quality to burn the final product. Thanks a lot for your help.

Your better bet may be to export the audio only from Sound Forge as a stereo mix, 16-bit 48k AIFF. Then pull that file back into your AVID project. Create a copy of the final sequence and drop the new audio mix file in, deleting the source audio tracks. Then export the whole shebang.
