Final word on Sony PAL HRV-V1E 25p problem?

Hi sorry I tried to search for this and I know its an old topic but I am considering buying a V1E in Hong Kong.

I found old posts saying that the 25 problem never got fixed, but recently i have seen articles or posts online saying that it did get fixed.


Can anyone point me in the right direction?
