hey everyone,
I have been shooting in 720/30p, thinking it would make the file sizes from the 1080/60i i had shot in prior to this, substantially smaller. When I go to "Log and Transfer" in final cut, and add the clips into the queue, the files are just as large if not larger... (i.e. a 28 second video clip ends up being a half a gigabyte.) This obviously doesn't seem right, does anyone konw the proper import settings so that these files aren't so god damn huge. Thanks!
