Final Cut 7 AVCHD Plug-in Shipping?

If my memory serves me, earlier this year, Panasonic announced/hinted that they would be offering a plug-in in July that would allow native editing of AVCHD clips in Final Cut Pro 7. Did it ship... or did I miss something, or did the fact that FCP is now EOL (end of life) cause them to kill this project?

Haven't heard a word from them. I don't doubt that the FCP brouhaha might have put a monkey wrench in it, but I would certainly hope that they will release it anyway, and the sooner the better...

If my memory serves me right. Jan mentioned this was still going ahead in a post about 3 or 4 weeks ago. Not sure if a time frame was mentioned.
