Filters for this 80's look? Any guesses?

Hey folks,

This video that just came out kicks ass.

I really like the retro look they used to mimic a video from a New Order video from the '80s.

Any experts out there know how to achieve this look using filters and or plugins in Final Cut Pro?

I dunno mate but it doesn't look like a filter,

I'd say that was it was using cameras etc that were used at the time (in the 80's)
or the footage is actually from the 80's blended in with other stuff ?????
Look at the clothes etc its not just filters etc that produces a look its all the other stuff like lighting cinematography props etc etc...

just my 2 cents

I'd wager that it was shot on 16mm.

There are ways, including Magic Bullet, to emulate 16mm film stock, but you aren't going to get it to look that authentic until you actually shoot on film.

Yea totally looks like 16mm. And like it was shot in '82.
