filters and lenses

I'm about to purhase my dvx along with about 2,000 dollars of extra equipment, should I add any lenses or filters to the list?. I keep hearing about polarizors and filters, I'm not an expert so any advice would be appreciated once again. thanks

Uv Filter - get one and leave it on your lens as a protector. A decent one wil not affect your image quality (but there is some debate to this... I use one and just leave it on and it looks fine)
Polarizer - get rid of reflections/decrease highlights in the sky when shooting on a bright day. Be sure to get a circular polarizer.

Expect to spend about 30-60 on each depending on quality.

Id like to get the best if it meets my pricing any good suggestions and a link? thanks

You can get them at your local photo store, or just order from B&H or wherever it is you're getting your cam... maybe they'll cut you a deal?

Tiffen/Hoya are the brands that come to mind.
