filter 82mm for HVX200

I'm looking for different filter for my HVX200. Is it a big difference beetween the expensive one or those I can buy on ebay for cheap? Is the difference $$$ worth it???

Thanks

Bottom line- you do get what you pay for. In other words spend a little extra cash and you won't be sorry later.

Do you know, if cheap filters can have a bad effect on the quality of my footage.

I want to buy a cheap polarize filter to test it. In store here it is 210$, on ebay I can get one for 50$ with 2 others filters. I don't want to put 200$ on something I don't need right now, but I want to learn to work with it.

Maybe you know a brand not too expensive but good quality... maybe around 100$... thank!

Absolutely.

Cheap filters are just that -- cheap. They use low quality glass, rings/frames, coatings (if they even have any), and often have poor workmanship and QA.

As mentioned before, you get what you pay for. You also don't get what you do not pay for.

Thanks for the explanation

Any brand to suggest for a polarize filter?

Is every quality polarize 82mm filter work ok with the hvx200?

Any idea for the best store online to order from...

check out the 82mm Circular Pola from TIFFEN and or HOYA.. Get the one for AUTOFOCUS cameras.. I get all of my filters from B&H www.bhphotovideo.com.. There are other places, but they are usually the best...

I don't think the HVX requires circular. You can save some $$$ going linear on the HVX. But yes good glass is still a must.
