Filmmaker Needed in Kansas City, MO

Quick synopsis, I have collected and restored classic arcade games (pacman, tempest, dragon's lair, etc.) for over 15 years. I have a complete video arcade in storage, a working business plan, and financing to open in spring 2011. I just finalized a deal on Friday that will allow us to completely remodel a 100 year old theatre on the historic square to operate the arcade.
We will be doing demolition, restoration of the building, small business planning (logos/floor plan/signage), restoration of games, (one of the color xy games I recently picked up still needs restoration, and the monitor is famous for exploding in flames...not cool for fixing, but cool for filming), planning and installing neon signs, finding and restoring more games (and a whole lot more).

Please send your credentials/resume, your monetary proposal (most of our capital is going into every square inch of making this building spectacular. The idea of filming has been on the table for a while, but things are really moving quickly now. I'm a full time professional photographer, but the financing I have lined up does not have money for this allocated. I am willing to fund this myself, but I would rather even work out something that included percentages/rights to the final product. I do have a full time photography studio and equipment, most of which is capable of shooting video (canon 5d mark2, 7d, L series prime lenses) if you are not currently in possession of everything you need. I do not have any Steadicam equipment though. Also my full time employee James, does hd video editing, and has an audio engineering degree (we are both just so busy working the photography business and working to open this arcade I do not feel we have the time to produce this. Plus we are photographers not film makers). I made a couple phone calls today to some of my friends in the photography/cinematography business, and their suggestion was given to me that I should really put this out on a forum so that someone who has the time and is passionate about film making (hopefully video arcade games too), might want to jump on this. I envision a pilot for a TV series, a film short, or possibly a full length documentary like Chasing Ghosts, or King of Kong that we could send to a film festival.

Please email us at least 2 examples of your work (please send website links not attachments) to garagecode@hotmail.com subject line should read "arcade documentary" in the subject line. We are needing someone possibly ready to shoot this week (week of December 6th). thanks, Mike Freeland
