In 1968, George Lucas made a documentary about Francis Ford Coppola, called Filmmaker.
- It's a pretty good documentary, especially impressive that Lucas was a one-man crew wielding a 16mm film camera and Nagra sound recorder. Lucas first wanted to make movies like this --- small, experimental art films and documentaries.
- By Lucas right out of school, about Coppola before The Godfather, even has shots of Gian-Carlo Coppola and Roman Coppola as children.
- For some reason I like listening to Francis Ford Coppola. He's very articulate and seems to work through things by talking with others, unlike me who thinks about everything inside my head.
