Filming with adobe on location straight to a hard drive with HVX

So I shot a music video the other day on an HVX and recorded straight to a hard drive using adobe On Location. The files show up on my drive with the correct file size but they won't open in any program. Sometimes when I try to play them it even says that it is not a movie file. By default they were written to my drive as .mov files.

Its weird because I was watching playback during the shoot and the files would play but now they wont. Has anyone had experienced the same issue? Is there some kind of software that can convert them to make them work? I feel like the information is there I just can't access it.

I would have "Dual" recorded, until i was satisfied that my workflow was good to go.
Maybe Adobe support or forums may be of use ?

Okay. I got half of them to play - the other half I am determining that they are corrupted files (I have no clue how they are but thats the only explanation I can come up with). The ones that do work...how do you make them playable on a computer that does not have adobe on location? it seems really janky to me that they can't just do it already. I mean what's the point of even shooting anything if you cannot access it on other drives and computers?
