Filming with a Polarizer filter . When ?

Outdoors (landscapes and cityscapes), the polarizer can help clear up a hazy sky/horizon and bring out a really intense blue in the sky.

Shooting toward glass, the polarizer can filter out reflections, allowing the camera to see what's on the other side of the glass. Same goes for the surface of water.

I actually used one for the first time over vacation near the Gulf. It made a noticeable difference in both the skies and the water.

When I finish editing the video I'll be sure to post it here.
