Filming Snow: Snowboard Us Open

I bought a DVX 100A from a friend with 192 hours on it. I love it and wish I knew more about lighting settings when shooting snow, flat light and bright days. Check out my video I made from the US OPEN OF SNOWBOARDING this weekend and let me know what you think. If you have any recommendations on lighting and different camera setting for shooting in snow let me know.

I had a problem once shooting in -5 degree weather where the camera fed me a *TC timecode error and cut like 10 of my 15 shots. Anyone else have this problem shooting in the cold?

We filmed this mini session with a DVX 100A . As you will see some shots are over exposed, some under. The light was on and off, so I was having trouble adjusting the exposure. Any tips on shooting snow? Low light , high light? Adjusting colors?
