I was wondering if anyone had any info how to to get a permit in order to film in Toronto, also how to obtain police help to cut off streets ect. thank you. I heard there is isurance needed for this, this is a low budget film, so i am not sure how much i can pay.

Not sure how this works in Canada, but to qualify for insurance in Japan and Australia you need to be a registered company also.
