Filming in shade with GH1 question

they should do a remake of mcgyver for the younger generation..lol

Dude, I'm 34! I grew up watching MacGyver! Its not "McGyver", by the way. Just because my screen name is Filmkid2003 doesn't mean I really am a kid! Hahaha! And they did make a MacGyver for the younger generation. Its called MacGruber!

Anyway, I can't drive my truck down onto the wash where I could use the headlights for lighting because the wash is all loose sand and I don't have 4WD. Thanks for the suggestion though.

What about a couple of 44gal drums with a nice wood fire, the flickering light would add charm and fit right in with the surrounds.

I don't have any power anywhere near this bridge and I'm not going to rent a genny so using lights is out of the ques-chi-own, my friend.

Nah, I mean use bounce light. Get some bounce cards or make your own. Get some mirrors and some white foam core board. Use the mirrors to get light under the bridge and then use the foam core to bounce the light and soften it.

works like magic in a pinch. You won't need to use a lot of light. You'll be amazed how a little goes a long way!

Hhmmm... mirrors bounced onto white foam core. I might have to try that. I have silver reflectors I created using foam core, foil insulation, and duct tape so, I'll probably try those first.
