I went to film school at Boston University, but I've since graduated. Try the Boston Craigslist, you may have some luck there. Tons of film students in the area, from BU, Northeastern, and Emerson, just to name a few. Keep looking.

hey, i'm a northeastern grad, live on mission hill, and love making films. i'm working on a funny little short right now that i plan to shoot in two nights before the end of the summer and will definitely need some help. it takes place in a bar so we will begin filming when the bar closes at one in the morning. let me know if you're interested in helping and i'll send you the script.

I'm also a boston filmmaker. I've got a DVX100a, and I've had one film in a film festival. I'm eager to talk with other filmmakers (especially those with training, as I'm self-taught :))

I've got some little projects of my own, and I'm happy to extend my services and equipment on other people's projects. Since no one ever has any money for this stuff, I think it makes sense to trade services on each other's projects, yes?

We can all talk on this board, or we can we get other people's email addresses from this site?

I live near Boston during the summer, go to school in Connecticut during the rest of the year. Oddly, Boston does seem pretty lacking in decent independent film productions, despite being so much cheaper than New York.
