I'm having a hard time deciding what is the best route to go when filming with the dvx. Is it wiser to shoot in 60i and then in post bump it down to 24p so I get a cleaner image (if this even happens) or simply shoot from the start in 24p. What do you guys think?
If you want 24p then shoot 24p. 60i will never provide the same quality downconversion that 24p starts with. That's one of the reasons why people buy the DVX, because normal 60i video camera footage post bumped to 24p never looks great. if it did Panasonic woudl have no need to make a 24p mode.
