filming an iphone

Hey guys,
Question? I am about to film a tutorial on an iphone app that a client made. Showing how to use it and so on. I am just curious if anyone has done the same here? If so what camera setting (HPX170 or HPX500) would be best? You dont necessarily have to be at 1/60 shutter for the iPhone do you?

Also, where can i buy a stand to hold the phone that i not visible in the shot? (like the recent Geico caveman commercial)

Anyways, I would love some input! Thanks in advance... -Chase A

Be aware that you may experience audio interference from the Iphone. This is the nature of GSM devices. You should run some tests and it may be avoided by not getting to close to the phone. Try zooming into the screen and not actually having the camera or Mic very close to the device.

good luck

thanks guys,
luckily it will all be voiced over. so audio isnt an issue, but you are right, it would definately create audio issues.

that PED3 will work i was just trying to find something that didnt come around to the front of the phone. maybe a slim case with a mount in the rear.

Not sure about mounting stands, but an anti-glare cover/coating on the front may end up saving you some headaches with lighting.
