And here's a video so that you can see it in motion. Watch it in 1080p if you can.

Seems very impressive!
Since (I assume) you apply different color matrix, what is the picture style / saturation / color tone that should be set in the DSLR?

Thanks,
Mark.

I wonder if other cameras will be added? Canon DSLR users ARE an obvious group to market too, but I'd gather there would
be interest from others too. Nikon DSLR shooters, GH2/GH3 users, AF100, FS100, FS700, C100 etc......

For Canon, the current version is based on a flat style, with everything set to zero. A lot of people have told us they'd like to see other styles supported, and we are currently working on adding these.

Look great. Will it work with Vegas? You are in Wellington NZ?

We are working on an OFX plugin version, so this will work in Vegas. Yes we're in Wellington NZ, home of various hobbits and elves. Some of our developers used to work at Weta.

What about us Nikon shooters? :D Looks pretty awesome.

How could we forget our nikon friends? You are on the list ;)

We're going to work on adding as many cameras as we can. I should emphasize that even if the exact sensor has not been profiled, as long as the camera is shooting typical looking colors, it will work well. For instance, it looks good on iPhone footage, as the iPhone sensor is trying to output images that look similar to DSLR images.

@FilmConvert

Do you still plan on having Histogram and three way color corrector be added to After Effects (windows) Plugin as a free upgrade sometime November? Will there be any issue in porting these features into AE Plugin?
I just would like to confirm this before I pay $250 for the plugin soon.

Thanks!

We are going to add them to the AE plugin, unless there are major technical hurdles. I can't promise if it will be in November though.

Soooo, just to clarify....what are you calling a "flat" style?
Would that be picture style NEUTRAL....with Sharpness all the way down (0) and Contrast, Saturation, and Color Tone all in the middle (0)??

Long time reader, first time poster. Thanks for the help!

Hello, and apologies for the slow response.
Our default setup uses the "standard" picture style with the controls zeroed out.

We have also just recently taken data on the flaat, marvel cine V34 and technicolor profiles, along with the "prolost" setup, and should hopefully have these available as a download in the very near future.

Hello Fine folks on DVXuser,
We're hugely excited to announce the introduction of direct support for the Panasonic GH2 sensor in our FilmConvert software.

With our most recent update, we're also able to offer support for a whole new range of Canon 5D pictureStyles as well: Techicolor, Marvels Cine, ProLost and Flaat are all in there now.

Feel free to grab yourself a copy and take a look.

Thanks!

FilmConvert, would you consider setting up a discount code for us DVXers? Thanks for your consideration, even if the answer is "No."

Hello Everyone,

Today we released profiles for several new cameras:

- Canon 550D / T2i
- Canon 600D / T3i
- Nikon D800
- Nikon D7000
- Panasonic GH3

Thanks for your support!

I finally succumbed, I bought the whole package because I haven't decided on the workflow for my feature yet but I have to start testing now.

You've got just about everything covered except for the FS100 and FS700. There's a few filmic FS100 user profiles floating around.
