Film Transfer Question

Never really played with 24p settings before as this is my first time into the DVX filmmaking experience. I know that you can do a film transfer of a mini-dv shot film with the DVX so I was wondering what all I had to have the settings to so far as the in-camera settings. I would like to start having my films in that style in case the option rolls around for a distribution company to do a film transfer to a 35mm print. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again and great forum.

If that is your goal, you will need to shoot in 24pa. Try to not mess with the image very much at all in Post. Use a TON of light to get amazing exposure and the most detail from your image. Those are just some little tips. Search for film transfer in the DVX sections to find more.
