Hey-
I used an ilford anti staticum cloth on my DVX 100 lens. It left a film on the lens. Any suggestions on what to use to remove the film? Ive read any liquid is bad to use. I have a shoot tomorrow, so useful sugestions appreciated.
Thanks
Brian
I always just use a dry lens cleaning tissue, it comes in a little yellow pack, and has about 50 dissposable sheets. It is very safe on all kinds of lenses, coated and non coated, and should take that film right off. I like the dissposable sheets because you don't have to worry if something has stuck to the cloth that could leave a film or scartch the lens. You can find these at most photography stores.
Mojo if you haven't solved the problem, checkout Ultra Clarity Lens Cleaner which is also marketed as the Sears brand. Never spray lens cleaner on the lens, use the microfibre cloth and all that gook should come off.
