FILM look comparison DVX vs. HVX footage

Hey guys,

I have been viewing a lot of footage coming out of the DVX and HVX mixed with a M2 adapter running on Nikons. I just dont know what it is but for some reason I feel like the DVX gives out a more "filmic" look, hence the amazing quality of the HVX ofcoruse.Do you think its the indivduals creativity in post or is the DVX just more filmic? Sorry if this is a dumb question.

Think your link is wrong: the HVX one leads you to "KNANSLER" (2006), but this one was obviously shot in dvx right?
Thats what they say and thats what they show in the making of..anyway:nice done.

Do you got anything done with the hvx yet?
 
Oh wow germanboy your right they used a DVX100a. WOW the quality was amazing I thought tht was HD! I will find a HVX footage.
