I am trying to find out if there are any groups, co-operatives or hobbyist type gatherings in the Toronto area. You know how model train enthusiasts have their train clubs, and paintballers have their paintball clubs,.. well I'm looking for something like that but film-making related. What I mean by that is, people who like to make films. movies, shorts,.. whatever, who may get together and collaborate to make fun things, gain some experience. And I don't mean exclusively HVX users either. But people who may say, "Hey I've got a camera", "I've got some lights", "I like to act", "I've got,.. whatever, so let's all get together and shoot something". Does anyone know if this sort of thing exists, and particularly in the Toronto area?
