GH4 Film Convert GH4 profile available now.

Wasn't this released 3 weeks ago or this is an updated profile?

Can't say for sure but I just got the email about it this morning and am usually on top of stuff like this. It could have slipped under the radar though...

I'm thinking about buying it. I'm assuming the NLE specific version is better than the stand alone?

Erik,

I bought FilmConvert for the BMPCC's ProRes & went with the Stand-alone for it's ability to batch process.

Not sure what I'd choose these days.

I shot and graded this yesterday using the new film convert GH4 profile. Was shot in Natural, with no curve or adjustment to master pedestal. I think the skin tones are very pleasing and the color is great. Let me know what you think.

I just bought the whole package so I can use everything they have (FCPX, Premiere, etc.) The standalone version is nice, but I much prefer to do it just in the NLE.

I actually use it on everything I do. Sometimes I just use it as a 3-way color corrector, sometimes as a grain generator, sometimes as a film emulation. It's OpenCL accelerated and makes amazing images. My clients love how it looks. And some of these are very big clients!

Make sure you have the latest filmconvert plugin. They made some fairly hefty changes in one of the last versions and the newer camera profiles might not show up if you haven't updated the plugin itself.

I can't get the gh4 profile to show up in my menus in Premiere, even after installing the package. Any advice?

I'm having the same trouble with the GH4 profile plugin for FCPX and I'm on the latest 2.19 version of FilmConvert, how or where do I get the GH4 profile to show inside FCPX once I have dragged the Filmconvert onto my clip???
