Hi everyone!
I've just started playing around with Setup and Scene files. It's generated a few questions:
1. Can Panasonic, Mitch, or Barry provide an engineer's doc as to what each of the 281 lines/switches in the Setup file refer to/target as well as the ranges for entries?
2. Same as 1 only with Scene Files.
3. Can I safely include notes (using TextEdit-Mac) within the Setup/Scene file and if so how? I'd really like to insert a line at the top with a detailed description of the setup similar to what programmers do in their coding.
4. Once created, is there anyway to manually sort or edit the files on the SD card to change the way the camera reads and reports them? I start my naming for Scene Files with the sensor setting (5.7k, 2.2k, 2.7k). I would like to have control over the order of how this is displayed in the camera. I have no evidence other than quick observation that the files are displayed by creation date.
I'm approaching this from the viewpoint of a longtime DVX, HVX, SDX, Varicam user. I was manually creating these files in a text editor, transferring to an SD card, and loading them in camera. Hoping to do the same thing with the EVA1.
