File Recovery

Hi, I'm producing a documentary and have run into a glitch with some files from an HVX-200 shoot. The files were transferred from the P2 card via Raid1 to 2 hard drives. When I try to open the files on one or the other of the drives with Final Cut Pro 6.0.2, they will not open in the log and transfer window.

When I contacted the DP who did the shoot, he balked at offering any help with the files (unless I agreed to pay him $400 and $125 an hour). So I'm trying to see if there's any other way to get these files into my system.
 
Try using Raylight to see if working with the files directly avoids the issue, or use P2 Log Pro to attempt a recovery if the files are bad.

When you say the files won't open, what's the error message you are getting, if any? If the files don't show up at all, did you or the DP rename anything (i.e. change the name of the CONTENTS folder to something else)?
