File Locked

I keep trying to save an FCP file and every time I hit command+S, a pop-up comes up saying that the specified file is locked. It only happens on one computer of the two I edit on.

Any Ideas on why?

Is it open on the other computer?

No, it and all the required files (capture, render, etc) are stored on a hard drive (firewire 400 which works fine for my DV footage. But the problem only happens on a school computer until I eject the drive and plug it back in. It happens only periodically.

yeah, i think its probably the login name. I'll also check the file permissions. Thanks.
