"file error: unknown file"

Hi hopefully someone can help me with this problem. I am trying to export to quicktime. Halfway through the export a window pops up saying "file error: unknown file". Has anyone seen this before or know what it means.
 
Could we possibly get just a little more specific information from you about what are doing with what?

Well imm still a pretty big newb so im not to sure what to tell you.

I am using a mac with fcs, 1.5 tb, and canon xh a1.

I just finished my edit on fcp and I went to export it.

file>export>quicktime movie.

I will then choose my settings and save it to my hard drive. The export begins. But after a few minutes it stops and says there is an error.
 
A Mac -- which Mac?

With fcs - which version of FCS?

1.5 tb - firewire or eSATA or what? What brand?

What sequence settings?
