GH13 FiiO E5 Headphone Audio Monitoring on GH1?

I've seen it done on Canon DSLRs but I wanna know if GH13 users can use the FiiO E5 Headphone Amplifier + 3.5mm to RCA Stereo Female Cable to monitor audio via headphones since GH1s don't have a Magic Lantern type deal. Basic "hearing what I'm recording" is all I'm looking for. Anyone currently doing this or have done this? Thank you.

I've ordered the E6 to try it out after seeing someone doing it with a Rode Video Mic and GH2 specifically for that reason. I'll let you know what I find.
