- FIGHT SCENE #2 -

Re: - FIGHT SCENE #2 -

That was amazing. The talents did their parts very well. Would love to learn a lot from you. What kind of editing suite did you use?

Thanks for the compliment NikAman! This is just one of those ghetto productions. I used Adobe premiere to edit and Photoshop for the terrible roto lightsaber effects.

Re: - FIGHT SCENE #2 -

ok, i think the lighting is flat and it doesnt look very "cinematic". HOWEVER, I think your directing and shots are extremely well done and I think you would be able to direct action type films very well!!! Awesome

Re: - FIGHT SCENE #2 -

hahah looked like pretty good action to me. i agree with the previous post. says it all

Re: - FIGHT SCENE #2 -

The setting was completely hilarious. I loved the adults only sign in the background. I think some dramatic lighting would have made this all that much better, as it is, it looks a little flat, not the fighting, but the scene itself. I think it would be sweet to have the room lit only by the glow of the cooler, and then maybe set up a few lights from behihnd the camera to look like window light. It would just add so muchmore ambience to you fight scene. The acting was great, except for the little (f-er) comment. not that I have anything towords cussing, just aks my wife, but it just did not fit. I would have been better with no talking at all. Great coriography, however, and great sound effects and music.

Re: - FIGHT SCENE #2 -

LOL

that was awesome bspidy

your sounds are great as well - where did you get those effects?? definetly added a lot more punch to the film

woo

Re: - FIGHT SCENE #2 -

Thanks for all the comments. We really weren't going for any cinematic look. I do understand that the lighting is flat. This is just one of those spur of the moment deals where we just wanted to a little fight scene. Just point and shoot and use what ever existing lighting available. :)

;D We actually own that video store.

Re: - FIGHT SCENE #2 -

That explains it. Most bosses wouldn't be cool enough to let you wreck their store to film a fight scene. :D

Re: - FIGHT SCENE #2 -

Bluespider- that was really really great. I am a huge fan of any and all martial arts flicks! I would be thrilled if I could put something together like that "last minute".

You da man of da moment!

;D

Re: - FIGHT SCENE #2 -

Bspidy - how come you couldnt enter this into the DVX contest this month? at least- I think you should definetly enter something of the same caliber

Lee, honestly I haven't shot anything since last year. I've been busy editing other peoples projects. That's all I have been doing this year was edit and mix sound for clients. I would love too though. Maybe next time.

yes this was actually filmed a year ago. Why is that bad? I've yet to put something recent on DVX. The funny thing is I'm not an action martial arts director. I'm more of a thriller/drama director. :)

Re: - FIGHT SCENE #2 -
