C ceaguila New member Jan 19, 2013 #1 Can you use a regular 40 inch samsung HDTV as a field monitor for the panasonic af100? I mostly want it to see if everything is in focus. Then use the waveform and zebras on lcd screen to watch the exposure. Is this possible?

B bengiles Well-known member Jan 19, 2013 #2 Yes. Might need a big field, though. HDMI out - and you can toggle on or off the various status icons/waveform etc on the HDMI output. Look in AV in/out settings. Ben.

Sorry, my mistake - not zebra, focus assist, scopes and iris level meter - but you can get the menu displays, level meters and markers etc. The toggle is "Video Out OSD" in the AV IN/Out menu. Ben.
