Field monitor maybe?

Pretty inexpensive.
I'm considering this to wear on my vest for my pole cam, also atop an hmc150 and for use with a jib and future steady cam to replace my non HD field monitor.

Any comments?

Resolution is 480 x 272 which is not even SD.
Cable I/O is on top which is cumbersome.
Charge input is 5v/USB which may or may not be ok depending upon your application.

If you are after a low cost field monitor, you might want to look for something like this...

I've used a Pyle PLVHR75 in the past with my HV40 and it served me quite well. Even with my 35mm adapter at the time. It's not SD (234 horizontal lines) but it worked well. Product specs.
I'm now using a Lilliput monitor and it's (of course) day and night. But on a budget, with a little DIY (to adapt the power) it can be bought for around 100$ + a 12v battery. Not the best solution, but it works.

Really, really try for something with blue-only. If your camera can generate bars, it's a world of difference.
